Darren Bryant is a Professor in Curtin University’s School of Education, Dean of Learning Futures in the Faculty of Humanities. He is a Senior Research Fellow in the Asia Pacific Centre for Leadership and Change (APCLC) and serves as Associate Editor of the International Journal of Educational Management. Previously he was Head of the Department of Education Policy and Leadership, and Associate Director of the APCLC at The Education University of Hong Kong. Darren publishes on leader preparation, middle leaders’ situated development, and their efforts to build others’ leadership capacity. This focus reflects his earlier work in secondary schools as a history and social sciences teacher, Department Chair, and K-12 Curriculum Coordinator.

Dr. Tony Chen is the Director of the Innovation Centre at the Education Hub. He also serves as a Master Career Supervisor for the MSc Digital Education Program at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province.

Dr. Chen majored in Computer Science and Mathematics, obtaining his bachelor's, master's, and PhD degrees, as well as a postdoctoral fellowship, from institutions in China, South Korea, Japan (Waseda University), and the USA. He has won nearly 10 prestigious awards, including the "Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-financed Students Abroad" and the "Japan MEXT Global COE Outstanding Scientific Research Achievement Award".

Prior to his current roles, Dr. Chen gained 3 years of experience working in the National Key Lab of Wireless Networks at a "Double First-Class" university. He has also published 3 first-authored SCI-indexed English journal articles and over 20 international conference papers, in addition to securing several patents.

Dr. Chen is a highly respected expert in the field of K-12 STEAM Education, with over 13 years of experience in Computer Science, Digital Technology, and Science.

Mr. Du Wei is the Chairman of the Guangdong Association for the Guangdong International Education Promotion Association Articles of Association and is responsible for the overall work of the Association, including strategic planning, program promotion, and external communication.

1. Promoting international education exchanges
- Mr. Du Wei actively organizes and participates in various international education exchange activities, aiming to enhance the influence and competitiveness of international education in Guangdong Province.
- He led the team to visit and research a number of schools, such as Guangzhou No. 1 School, to gain an in-depth understanding of the current development and future planning of the school in the field of international education, and to provide valuable advice.

2. Promoting Cooperation among Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao
- Mr. Du is also committed to promoting the cooperation and development of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Greater Bay Area in the field of education. He has participated in many exchange talks with the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Cooperation and Promotion Association to have in-depth discussions on the situation, challenges as well as development opportunities of international education.

founder of Printact Limited, a company specializing in STEAM and DeepTech Education.
The award-winning startup has garnered support from various investors from Hong Kong
and Singapore.

Dr. Ng has dedicated years to promoting the education and popularization of DeepTech and providing consultancy in areas such as Web3, AI, Biotech, and Quantum Computing. He is a sought-after speaker, having shared his startup experience and technological expertise at notable occasions including HKU, TEDxCUHK, HKFYG, Fudan University, Qianhai Houde Incubator, UK London Tech Week. He was appointed as the chief demonstrator of the three Teaching Laboratories at HKU, designing Physics experiment classes which benefit over 1000 undergraduates from the Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Science of HKU. Additionally, he was the first Quantum computing Qiskit Advocate of IBM in Hong Kong and has been invited to be the judge of MIT International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) since 2019.

Dr. Ng also actively promotes STEAM and entrepreneurship education. He is the senior
facilitator and educator of Startup Weekend and Angelhack. He has organized and
participated in more than 40 hackathons and startup competitions. His expertise extends to media, where he co-host RTHK programs "Blockchain and You" and “R&D Made in HK”,
and serves as judge or mentor for various STEAM or startup competitions.

Dr. Ng holds a BSc degree with double majors in Physics and Finance and a PhD degree in
Semiconductor Physics and Positron Physics from the University of Hong Kong. He was a
member of the Executive Committee of HKUGA and HKUAA, the Standing Committee of
HKU Convocation and a member of HKU Court. He is also a member of the Institute of
Physics, UK.

Dr Xiaojun Zhang is Chief Officer of Education at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University and Team Leader of Entrepreneur College (Taicang) Collective Leadership Team. He also takes roles including inaugural Executive Dean of the Academy of Future Education, and Acting Dean of Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Hub.Xiaojun is an edupreneur who initiated all the four units within the Academy of Future Education. He was appointed as Head of ILEAD in 2017 when ILEAD became a department of Education. He restructured the faculty development centre at XJTLU and built the team of Educational Development Unit (EDU) in 2018. The Department of Educational Studies (EDS) was created by Xiaojun in 2019, and Learning Institute for Future Excellence (LIFE), as an innovative platform to support student transfarmation and global citizenship competence development at XJTLU, was created under his leadership in 2021.Dr Zhang led the development of several projects with national level impact. He created XJTLU National University Teaching Innovation Award in 2016, developed the Association for Sustainable Faculty Development in Higher Education in 2018 with more than 90 institutional members, and initiated the ILEAD Talk series established in more than 20 cities in China.Dr Zhang is a Principal Fellow of Higher Education Academy (PFHEA) in UK.One of Xiaojun’s current work focuses on educating the educators in universities, including teachers, professionals, and institutional leaders and managers. He has developed many professional development programmes for educational practitioners across the country. His programmes were attended by more than 15,000 staff from more than 500 Chinese universities. Since 2013 he has been invited for more than 200 speeches for educational practitioners and researchers on the topic of education and teaching innovation. Xiaojun created one of the most influential community for teaching innovation in China: XJTLU National University Teaching Innovation Award. More than 4,250 innovative teachers from 500 Chinese universities applied for this award since 2016. Every year there are millions of online visits to this events, and there has accumulated more than 500 excellent teaching innovation cases.Dr Zhang’s research area includes institutional change and institutional logics; Educational leadership; Syntegrative Education; Internationalization in Higher Education, especially the Sino-foreign Cooperative universities; Future education in the AI era; University transfarmation and teaching innovation, in particular research-led learning and teaching; student-centred education; student transition etc. Dr Zhang welcomes PhD applications in these areas.Xiaojun has published more than 100 academic papers and 5 books. His research focus on problems in practice and pay attention to practical implications. Most of his research has been adopted in his training programmes for higher education practitioners. One of his most recent books titled University Transfarmation: From Teacher Dominated to Student-Centred published by Tsinghua University Press is a guidebook for education practitioners who want to transform their education. Xiaojun proposed the diamond model of teaching innovation in AI era and highlighted ten key directions of teaching innovation in his another recently published book Future-oriented Teaching Innovation by Economic and Management Press.

Paul earned degrees from Johns Hopkins University, M.A; Wesleyan University, Certificate of Advanced Studies; Pacific Western University, B.A; and studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art – was Assistant Head of School for Advancement at The Marvel wood School from 2014 to 2019 and was the Dean of the Arts at the Isidore Newman School in New Orleans from 2008 to 2014. Before that, he served as the Executive Director of the Paul Mellon Arts Center and head of the Choate Rosemary Hall Arts Department. He previously served in the same capacities at the Ward Center for the Arts at the St. Paul’s Schools in Baltimore. In addition, Paul was the Executive Director of Broadway Asia Entertainment, establishing musical theater academies in China and South Korea. 

For over forty years, Paul has taught acting, dance, directing, playwriting, and theater history. He has directed and choreographed over 150 musicals and plays at the Paul Mellon Arts Center (Choate), Ward Center for the Arts (St. Paul’s Schools), Austin Arts Center (Trinity College), The Contemporary Arts Center and Newman Arts Center (NOLA), Newton Country Players and Lexington Players (Boston), and other regional theaters.

Paul’s students have appeared on Broadway in Rock of Ages, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, Groundhog Day, Matilda, Finding Neverland, Gettin’ the Band Back Together, The Ritz, M. Butterfly, and Take Me Out, as well as appearing on Saturday Night Live. His students have gone on to direct on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and in regional theaters.
